A Blog to Catch Up to End 2022

Hello again. I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve done a blog post, and looking back, it’s been even longer than I thought! A lot has happened this year, many things I’m so thankful for and some things that have hit like a ton of bricks. Speaking of bricks this year began in February with me finding a location to open up my brick and mortar in March, a long time dream. And I do mean dream because I just figured I’d be online, doing a little side gig that I loved, when in reality I was given the chance to do so much more. I opened up in March this year and have thoroughly enjoyed the local connections I have made in less than 1 year of being open. So many new friends and a community of amazing people that have also expressed an interest in the online coven, something I have been trying to get going for over a year now. Opening the brick and mortar has been amazing and time consuming. Early this fall minor health issues I thought were nothing, took an absolute turn and have flipped my world upside down. While my life will certainly be cut short due to this diagnosis, I am in no way letting it hinder me now. For the moment, things seem under control, but I will know more in January when my first follow up scan gets scheduled since this rollercoaster began. I am 3 months away from my 1 year anniversary in March and I am just getting to the point where I want to tackle the online coven again. Life has a way of slapping you in the face when you think things are going good, am I right?!

So here we are in the last week of 2022 and I am doing some reflecting on this year here at the shop today. Yes I know it’s Christmas Eve, but in reality, this is where I want to be. Where I’ve poured so much of my time and energy into creating this fabulous hidden gem. So for this next year I have so many things planned. I just have to make it happen! Little perks for in store purchasing, such as gift cards and reward cards are just a few things to look forward to. In person classes will also be scheduled because like I said, making local connections has been amazing so far. I have been also working on the idea of some local gatherings here at my shop location and those are in the works, as I am a renter and need permissions to do so, so for now here’s what I can do.

I can get this online coven launched! I’ve been researching so many different platforms on how to make the online coven a worldwide accessible option for those who want to join and will be offering a few different things. A closed Facebook group that I started almost a year ago and have done nothing with, and possibly a Discord. Time zones around the world are a big thing and I believe offering something other than main stream social media due to so many people choosing not to engage on those accounts is my priority! There will be a paid membership to both options and will be linked for invite only through a Patreon link that will be published on my website once I’ve launched it. I am also considering a apprenticeship program for people just starting out wanting direction in their path or perhaps have lost touch with their magick and needing some guidance to get it back. If I do add this, it will be limited to a few people at a time so that I will have the available time to give to each person.

As things progress I really want to offer in person gatherings. Full moon, new moon, major astrological events as well as some of the Sabbats. Even though I am not Wiccan I do celebrate many of the Sabbats and the wheel of the year. Something you can absolutely do without being Wiccan. As a solitary practitioner I use things from many different paths.

And lastly, content. I love creating content and have thought about offering paid Book Of Shadow pages with some of my own spells on the website as downloadable content. Something else to look forward to see popping up on the website as we move into 2023.

I am frustrated with my social media accounts as they do nothing to stop imposter accounts from copying my content, reaching out to followers and scamming them for money. I have tried several times to get verified and it’s not happening no matter how many times I apply. I really feel that this year my online shopping has taken a huge hit making it harder and harder to sell online. If your reading this, know that your purchases made through my website are from me. I’ve lost count after 15 different imposter accounts have popped up. Keeping track of them seems to be a waste of time. I have my website, I promote my website every chance I get because that where you will do your online shopping. Not through DM unless your discussing something you seen on the website and want to reach out.

So here I am, all my main ideas spilled out. Hoping my health holds up for many years so that I can continue to do what I love. Hoping this becomes a full time gig because juggling 2 jobs while I continue to manifest this is exhausting to say the least.

Thank you if you are still here, reading this years story. I wouldn’t have even stood a chance at doing any of this if it weren’t for the online community that I’ve attracted over the last 4 years. You are all amazing and I look forward to so much more interaction in 2023 both online and in person! Please know if you’ve made any type of purchase from me, I appreciate it and you from the bottom of my heart.

Cheers to a prosperous 2023 for all of us.
