What to Expect From My Blog

I’ve been contemplating over the past several months on what I wanted to do with this blog moving forward and posting regularly here, so here we are. One thing I’ve noticed throughout all the social media platforms is everyone making visual pleasing spells and altars and what I’ve realized is that while they are just that, “visually pleasing” they are not what I would consider real life working magical spaces. This can also be said with working spells you see on social media as well. I’ve found a couple creators on TikTok that I do think are very close to what spell performing should be, but that is here nor there as it’s just my opinion. There is this big misunderstanding that I also keep seeing, that magickal workings are supposed to be “pretty” and I will be the first to tell you, it is NOT. Wax, herbs, oils, ash and other tools end up all over the place, and that’s okay. Maybe you found a spell and don’t have all the ingredients and do it anyway with different or no results at all. This I think is what the main part of my blog is going to be moving forth. Picking out spells and picking them apart, talking about my own spells and how to write your own, because why not. This is what makes your craft your own! There are plenty of written spells in books and online that you can mimic and get decent results. But I think making your own harnesses your power SO much more. So… this is where my main content for this blog is going to go. I will still have my personal ramblings, which I will have separately, but my main focus in this blog is going to be finding your own magical path. Tips and tools that make your spell working easier as well as ideas to make your path your own. I may do a subscription option at some point with more in depth discussions and the occasional online gathering to discuss things in a group effort. But for now, this will be the direction I am moving here.

If you haven’t signed up to receive blog updates, please do so on the main page pop up and hopefully this turns into something more.
